ALEX "POATAN" PEREIRA is a renowned Brazilian mixed martial artist and former Glory kickboxing world champion. Known for his knockout power and precision striking, Pereira has made his mark in both kickboxing and MMA.
Born in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, Pereira began his combat sports journey in kickboxing, where he quickly rose through the ranks. His most notable achievement in kickboxing was becoming a two-division Glory world champion, holding titles in both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions. Pereira is widely regarded for his devastating left hook, which has knocked out several top-level opponents, including his most famous victory over Israel Adesanya in kickboxing, defeating him twice.
